The Body Pod is a lightweight ,rigid support system when used with the Pro, XR or HD series support systems allows your body to take the weight of the stabiliser. Because it is a rigid system it does not absorb or smooth out camera movement as well as a stabiliser that is being held in your hand. It does however still provide far superior results as opposed to hand holding or shoulder mounted camera operating. You can quickly and easily remove the sled(stabiliser) from the body pod to return to hand held stabilisation shooting.The Body Pod transfers the weight from your arms,wrists to your waist and shoulders virtually eliminating fatigue.
